The Vision:
To offer a program that will allow juniors from all communities the opportunity to take part in learning and training in the game of golf.
The Mission:
To build self-esteem, improve academic achievement, provide positive role models, instill self-determination and improve the total environment for all children through the game of golf.
The Rewards:
The future leaders of this world are our young people. What they think, believe in, and act upon will determine in part what type of world is before us. We can only mentor our youth with the discovery which they will soon value for themselves. The responsibility of citizenship and the skills and attitudes essential for an effective future... That is our reward.

Jeniveve Alexandra Vaia is participating in her first season with the Project One Junior Golf Academy.  Jeni was born right here in Austell, GA on June 30, 2000.  She has strived to do her best in both her academic and athletic endeavors.  A proud graduate of the Smyrna First United Methodist Kindergarten, Jeni went on to 1st grade at Nickajack Elementary where she was identified as a gifted student and enrolled into the Target Program.  An outgoing young lady, Jeni was recognized as the 2006-2007 Character Education Student of the Year.   She is currently attending 2nd grade as a charter student at the Imagine International Academy of Smyrna in their International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.

Jeni's interests in extracurricular activities are as broad as her smile.  She has put her loud voice to good use as a member of the SFUMC Sunshine Singers choir.   She is an avid horseback rider and loves swimming and gymnastics.  She has played 3 seasons with the Smyrna Soccer Club on the Dragons and Lady Chiefs.   In addition to golf, Jeni is also currently participating in her first season of Upward Basketball.  Jeni helps with her sister Ashley's Daisy Scout troop (Troop 2006) activities.   She has been to Colombia 3 times to visit her maternal extended family and is eagerly anticipating her first trip to South Korea to visit her paternal grandparents.   When not busy practicing her golf swing or her jump shot or working on her studies, Jeni can likely be found outside, hanging upside-down from climbing a tree.
